Developed over three years, the Attention System identifies the drivers of attention and applies these to scripts, treatments, pilots and finished works.
This service was successfully launched in the USA in 2006 via a joint-venture company, Attention Inc.. The primary service uses a trained evaluation team who interpret the drivers and provide clients with an analysis of each product requested.
NBC Universal is one of two US majors that have used Attention services.

Zak is Managing Director of Attention Inc, the US consultancy arm of Attentional. His expertise lies in content analysis. He works closely with research and development executives, analysing scripts, treatments, filmed shows and marketing and promotional materials. Zak also specialises in monitoring the latest trends in the American film and TV markets. He is currently in the middle of a long-term contract with NBC Universal, applying high-end evaluation tools that aid the development of new content (scripted shows, films, and reality programmes).
After graduating from the LSE with a First in Economics and Government, Zak worked as an analyst at Goldman Sachs in their Private Client team. He then went to the University of Southern California’s prestigious film school, where he completed his Masters degree. While in Los Angeles, Zak has worked for Dreamworks SKG’s Story Development team, HBO’s Film & Miniseries Production team and recently attended Fox’s Associates Fellowship Program.
