NEW UK TV FORECAST OUT NOW

consultancy

Our consultants seek to assist our clients in making the right strategic decisions. That means extracting knowledge that is hard to get, and using the best available techniques to ensure we are getting it right. A separate arm of our consultancy works on large Public Interest projects, mainly for public institutions in the European Union.

Attentional, under its former name of David Graham & Associates, has been providing consultancy support to the media industries for more than 10 years.

Our strategic advice has helped inform policy and shape strategy for a wide range of clients, including government departments, television networks and production houses.

Projects undertaken by the Attentional team include:

  • supporting numerous channel launches;
helping a UK radio broadcaster reposition its portfolio of stations;
investigating the importance of regional programming in Northern England;
calculating the regional economic multipliers of the UK film industry;
a scoping study of the Eastern European television programme market;
assisting in returning boxing coverage to terrestrial TV;
defining strategy for a national broadcaster’s relationship with independent producers in Scandinavia;
assessing the impact of PVR ownership on viewing behaviour;
identifying and investigating the risks and opportunities associated with digital platforms for European film-makers;
quantifying production of UK network programming in the nations and regions; and
mapping UK investment in film development and evaluating the training of screenwriters.

Every project we undertake is unique. It is our belief that a firm understanding of a client’s objectives and challenges is an essential prerequisite for providing effective strategic support.
