David formed David Graham & Associates (DGA) in 1990 to develop data and research services for independent TV and film producers in the UK. The company became Attentional Ltd in 2007.
David’s career in broadcasting began in Toronto, Canada and continued at the BBC, where David was a producer in the Current Affairs department of BBC Network Television. In 1980, David founded Diverse Production Limited, an independent production company, which supplied current affairs programmes to Channel Four.
David was educated at the Universities of Bristol and Indiana. He is a member of The Royal Television Society and has been awarded a medal for Outstanding Services to Television.

Formerly General Manager at Attentional, Chris Humpherson was heavily involved in building the company’s commercial operations in the UK and USA. He also helped to take Attentional data services online via its Overnights.tv web-service, now used by producers, broadcasters and studios around the world. He currently leads and manages Overnights.tv and advises Attentional on market development. Before joining Attentional Chris coordinated the logistics operations of Cuisine de France, part of Europe’s largest food business, IAWS Group.
Kate Hinckley – Account Manager
Kate’s role is to run the day to day operations of Overnights.tv. ensuring that all clients are well looked after. With a Media degree and a background in product including time at ITV Studios and Lionsgate, Kate has a great knowledge of the industry and what our broadcast, production and studio clients require.
Dr Kit Pleydell-Pearce is Senior Lecturer at the School of Experimental Psychology within the University of Bristol, UK. His research interests include the neuropsychology of autobiographical memory, attention, consciousness and language processing. He also maintains a strong interest in the scientific basis of human emotion and well-being. A current focus is the development of new mathematical and computational techniques for analysing human brain activity. He is Director and founder of four postgraduate programmes which provide professional training in Clinical Neuropsychology, including postdoctoral level professional qualification. As Scientific Adviser for Attentional, Kit is in charge maintaining a watch on relevant specific scientific literature, keeping our own practice in line with the best current knowledge and developing unique experiments and research lines to broaden our expertise on attention to entertainment. Fiona joined Attentional in 2002 as head of the Metadata department. She now oversees the delivery of all Attentional’s TV Ratings services, including daily overnights, the AQUA research engine and their client serevice platform, www.overnights.tv.
She also supervises the logging of all UK terrestrial transmissions and is responsible for the addition of Attentional’s proprietary coding system, creating an extensive resource for statistical analysis. This has provided the basis for projects looking at areas such as independent production, UK-originated programming and measuring the levels of PSB programming.
Prior to joining Attentional, Fiona worked as Production Manager for Telemagination, one of the UK’s leading animation companies. During her 12 years with the company, she worked on The Animals of Farthing Wood and Noah’s Island, two multi-million pound projects for the European Broadcasting Union. She has also worked as Chief Sub-Editor on the television section of The Sunday Times. Fiona has a joint honours degree in English and Philosophy from Leeds University.

Jason joined the Atentional Metadata team as a part-time researcher in 2005, assisting in the compilation of the company’s database of coded content. Prior to joining the Attentional team, Jason joined Reuters in 1989 as an online indexer on a searchable archive of content from newswires, newspapers, magazines and other printed sources.
Matt Graham is International Content Specialist at Attentional, covering all aspects of global media for the company and in addition is a member of our Evaluation Team. A professional screenwriter, Matt’s most recent writing credit is on Oliver Stone’s The Untold History Of The United States for Showtime, and he’s worked in Hollywood for over ten years. His episode ten of the series was one of Showtime’s official candidate for the Emmy Awards in 2013. In addition to his work as a screenwriter, Matt’s been a reader for Summit Entertainment, and a Development Executive for the fiction arm of Robert Greenwald’s Brave New Films. Outside of Hollywood, he’s taught screenwriting for New York Film Academy, running the writing section of their “Nollywood” writing lab in 2011 in Nigeria. He’s taught Spanish in the Amazon Rainforest, and worked as a journalist in Buenos Aires. Matt’s originally from the UK but considers himself a citizen of the world.
